The number of corona virus cases in the United States has exceeded 300,000, while the death toll passed 8,100. At least 8,476 people have died nationwide and at least 311,301 people have been infected.
More than 8000 people have died so far in the United States, but the White House has said its projections show that at least 100,000 people could die because of virus.
President Donald Trump on Saturday warned that “there will be a lot of death” in the coming weeks as the number of people who had died from the corona virus in the United States surpassed 8,000.
As of Saturday, there were almost 8,500 deaths from Covid-19 in the US, with most in New York state – the epicenter of the outbreak.
New York state’s corona virus death toll rose at a devastating pace to 3,565, up from 2,935 the previous day, the largest 24-hour jump recorded there.
The US currently has the highest number of infections and Italy has the greatest number of deaths.
