Kathmandu : Salman Khan said to pay the expenses of 25 thousand daily wage laborers of film industry in the midst of lock down because of corona virus.
According to Indian media, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) received account of 19,000 workers.
Some of these workers have appealed to the FWICE to assist those in need of money, stating that their financial position is satble enough to cope with the epidemic.
FWICE Secretary General Ashok Dubey praised the move of member staff and confirmed, “Salman Khan had demanded the details of 25,000 employees. We received the details of 19,000 workers. Out of which 3,000 workers had already received 5 thousand rupees from Yash Raj Films. So we have sent to Salman Khan the details of the remaining 16,000 workers and he has started sending money. Soon everyone will have money.”
