26 people hiding in mosque of Birgunj taken in control

Kathmandu : Police have arrested 26 more people including 19 Muslim tribe of India (religious preachers), who were hiding in a mosque in Birgunj.

Of the 26 arrested by police on Saturday evening, 19 were Indian nationals who participated in the Muslim Talbgatti gathering in Delhi, 3 Maulana (Muslim Dharma Guru) of Birgunj and 4 persons who had come from India.

They were taken into control by the two mosques in Chhapakaya and Ghusukpur of Birgunj on Saturday evening, and Parsaki Police Superintendent Ganga Pant informed that they were kept in quarantine at Siddhartha Mavi in Shirpur, Birgunj.

The police team of District Police Office and Wada Police Office, Birata took control of 11 from Chopkaya’s mosque and 15 from Ghosukpur’s mosque and took them to Quarantine under police scouting.
