Kathmandu : District Administration Office, Kavre, has banned pedestrians from entering the district after Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) showed a corona virus infection positive in two people.
The administration has issued notification after more than a hundred pedestrians from different districts started traveling through Kavre to the home district due to lockdown.
Chief District Officer Shravan Kumar Timalsina informed that the decision has been taken to control those who are moving unnecessarily within the district, and to completely ban those who enter the district on foot from neighboring districts.
The administration has also banned the operation of non-essential vehicles except essential services.
People from Kathmandu are traveling to the Terai district on foot through the BP highway due to lack of transport equipment due to lock down announced by the government to control the corona transit.
