Second report of three out of four corona infected came out positive, sample collected and sent for third test

Kathmandu : A second test report of three out of four Covid-19 infected patients at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj has been reported positive. One report has come out negative.

The infection of Covid-19 was confirmed a week ago in three Indian tribes living in Makki Jame mosque in Chaparraya of Birgunj-3.

An infected youth sent from Rautahat is also being treated at Narayani Hospital. None of them has been reported as negative. The hospital said their condition was normal.

Medical Superintendent of Narayani Hospital Dr. Madan Upadhyay informed that the throat swab sample was collected and sent to the laboratory for the third phase test.

Although the PCR machine has come to Birgunj, the lab has not been operated due to lack of other similar requirements. Therefore, the throat swab has been collected and sent to the provincial laboratory at Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati state.
