Kathmandu : A body of a brutally murdered youth has been found in Birginj. The body of Ravi Patel, 26, of Birgunj Municipality Ward 25 Moujesiria, was found on Monday morning after being killed and thrown.
Patel’s body was found in the plotting of Town Planning on the Moujeseria on the east side of the dry port of Cercia. A local woman, who went out for the toilet on Monday morning, had informed the police after seeing the body.
According to Police the deceased has suffered serious injuries to his face, hands and feet, and the body was found while his neck was tied with cloth. Police suspect that Patel may have been murdered and thrown.
According to Patel’s father Manoj Patel, after eating dinner on Sunday night, Patel had left home to buy Pachak. Patel, who did not return home, was found in a plotting on Monday morning, said Father Manoj.
Police have taken the dead body of Patel to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj for postmortem. Police have been investigating the incident, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Shahi.
