Kathmandu : Sanima Bank has provided assistance of Rs 16.8 million to the Government of Nepal for the control and treatment of Corona Virus (Covid-19) epidemic.
Under this, Rs 3.3 million has been provided by the employees of the bank. The bank has provided Rs 9.8 million to the Corona Virus Infection, Prevention and Treatment Fund under the central government and Rs 7 million to each province government.
It is stated that the assistance has been transferred to the respective state governments through the representatives of each provincial office of the bank and the amount has been deposited in the Corona Virus Infection, Prevention and Treatment Fund of the Central Government.
The bank believes that this will help the government in preventing and treating the corona virus infection.
