Kathmandu : Corona test report of 105 people including 20 health workers has come negative in Udayapur. The reports of 58 from Chaudandigarhi Municipality-5, 27 from Triyuga Municipality-1 and 20 heath workers have been negative.
A team from the state public health department had collected swabs of Sibai and Mothiai residents on Thursday. According to the District Public Health Office, the report came negative during the PCR test at Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar on Friday.
A blockade has been imposed in the district after finding large number of corona infected at Nuri Masjid and Bhulke in Udayapur.
At a press conference organized by the Ministry of Health and Population on Friday, spokesperson Dr Vikas Devkota informed that throat swab samples were collected from various places including Chaudandigarhi and Triyuga with the joint assistance of the Provincial Laboratory of Province 1 and the Provincial Health Office and sent to Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar for testing.
According to Devkota, the samples were collected from the families living around the mosque, who were living there before the Jamati team came to Bhulke and mosque.
According to the ministry, samples are being collected as per the plan for further testing in Udayapur.
