Kathmandu : Four people were killed on the spot when a bomb exploded in Rolpa on Thursday evening. The bomb had exploded at a place called Garigaun in Wadanmbar 7 of Triveni Municipality.
The deceased have been indentified as Lotiram Dangi, 14, Vimala Khatri, 11, Vijay Khatri, 5, and Gaurav Nepali, 13, said DSP Chitra Bahadur Gurung of District Police Office, Rolpa. He said that the initial information came that the bomb had exploded while they were grazing goats.
There were two in the same place and no other explosion. A police team has been sent to the spot to find out more, police said. There were only four people at the scene and all four of them died.
DSP Gurung said that more information would come after the police team reached the spot and investigated the incident.
