Kathmandu : The government has so far tested a total of 66,077 samples using PCR and RDT technology across the country.
At a regular press conference held at the Ministry of Health and Population today, spokesperson Dr Vikas Devkota said that 13,850 samples were tested using PCR method and 52,227 samples were tested using RDT method.
One thousand 582 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours. He informed that PCR method is being tested from 18 different places across the country.
Six thousand 122 samples were tested in Province No. 1, five thousand 775 in Provinve No.2, eight thousand 940 in Bagmati Province, six thousand 74 in Gandaki Province, five thousand 193 in province No.5, five thousand 876 in Karnali Province and 14 thousand 244 in Far Western Province spokesperson Devkota informed.
The total number of infected people has reached 82 across the country. Of them, 62 are males and 21 are females.
