
Kathmandu : Two dozen journalists have undergone a swab test in Janakpurdham, the provisional capital of Province No 2.
On Wednesday, the swab test of 23 journalists from Janakpur was collected on the initiative of the Dhanusha branch of the Federation of Nepali Jounalists and in coordination with the Nepal Army. They are journalists working in the field to collect the news about coronavirus.
Health workers of the provincial laboratory in collaboration with the Srinath Gana in Mahendranagar, Kshireshwarnath Municipality, Dhanusha, had collected the swabs of the journalists.
According to the journalists, the corona has been tested keeping in view the possible risks as it is continuously reporting on the spot while fulfilling its responsibility of informing the public.
Anil Mishra, president of the Dhanusha branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), said that the swab test was carried out keeping in mind the risk of journalists working in the frontline while the corona infection was spreading.
The state laboratory has stated that the results of the health examination of the journalists will come tomorrow.
