Kathmandu has decided to cancel the vehicle pass

Kathmandu : The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has revoked all the inter-district passes issued earlier. On Tuesday, the district administration office issued a notice saying that the inter-distrit passes including the e-passes issued earlier have been canceled.

Kathmandu district has also revoked the inter-district passes issued earlier after the number of corona cases started increasing suddenly.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had instructed the district administration offices to revoke the inter-district transit pass with effect from Jesth 1. Now, other passes issued by the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, for the Kathmandu Valley have also been rejected.

According to Kathmandu Chief District Officer Janak Raj Dahal the yellow pass issued earlier will also allow vehicles to drive in the Kathmandu Valley. However, in case of going outside the Kathmandu Valley, the pass will have to be provided in coordination with the concerned district administration office.
