
Kathmandu : So far, 22,664 people across the country have been tested for coronavirus using the PCR method, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
A spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Vikas Devkota, said at a regular press conference on Thursday that 1,363 people had undergone corona test in the past 24 hours.
According to him, the PCR test was started on January 28. Similarly, 62,327 people have been tested by RDT method so far. This test was started from last April 1.
Similarly, there are 15,600 people in quarantine so far and the number of quarantine beds in the country is 53,835. Similarly, spokesperson Devkota said that there were 272 people in isolation. He says those in isolation are infected and potentially infected.
At present, there are 6 in Kathmnadu and 266 outside, he said. He added that corona has been confirmed in three people today and the number of infected people has reached 246.
Similarly, 35 people have recovered and returned home.
