Kathmandu : A staff nurse has died after being hit by a truck in Dhanusha. Chandra Rekha Yadav, 22, of Pushpawalpur in Mithila Municipality-4 died after being hit by a truck on Thursday.
She died while undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital, said Tirtha Karki, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Dhalkewar.
A truck (Ko 1 Kha 2627) heading from east to west had hit a motorcycle (Ba 52 Pa 8648) at Pushpawalpur Chowk at around 4 in the afternoon.
The injured have been identified as Siddhartha Yadav, 20, of Jamuniya in Janakpur Sub-Metropolis, Mahi Yadav, 4, daughter of the deceased Chandra Rekha and her 2 year old son.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur. The truck driver and his co-driver have been taken under control by the police.
