Supreme Court issues order to the government to increase the scope of PCR testing

Kathmandu : The Supreme Court has issued an interim order in the name of the government to increase the scope of PCR testing.

Advocates Kamal Bahadur Khatri and Virendra Kumar Khatri have filed an interim order in the name of the government on Thursday in a writ petition filed against the Prime Minister’s Office demanding health check-up of all citizens through PCR method.

Supreme Court Judge Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma’s single bench has issued an interim order in the name of the government to conduct health examination through PCR method as much as possible as the writ petitioners have demanded to conduct health examination through PCR method for the survival of the citizens.

Similarly, the writ petitioners have argued that the government has not been able to do its job properly for the health protection of the citizens and it has been ordered to send a written reply to the Attorney General’s Office within 15 days.
