Old man dies after being struck by lightning

Kathmandu : An old man died after being struck by lightning at Katari Municipality-3 Rajavas in the district on Thursday evening.

Lil Bahadur Sunuwar, 61, who was grazing cattle in Kakur Khola near his house, died on the spot after being struck by lightning, police said.

According to Premsagar KC, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Katari, Lil Bahadur was found dead when he went to search for him.

According to him, lightning has been seen on Sunuwar’s chest.
