Kathmandu : Coronavirus is suspected in 31 cleaners working in the enviroment department of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Narendra Bajracharya, head of the health department of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation, said that 31 people tested positive for corona through RDT method on Friday.
According to him, while testing corona in 932 cleaners of the metropolis today, 31 of them got positive corona report. According to him, 664 people were tested by RDT test and 268 people were tested by PCR method today.
Of the 664 people who underwent RDT, 31 tested positive for corona. PCR report is yet to come.
Similarly, 31 people who tested positive for RDT will be confirmed to have corona only after being tested by PCR method, he said.
According to him, swab collection has been started for their PCR test. The corona patient is currently being kept in a quarantine set up by the metropolitan environment department.
