Kathmandu : The Chandragiri Municipality, located at the main entrance of the Kathmandu Valley, is going to tighten the lockdown after five people tested positive for coronavirus.
The lockdown is being tightened after the municipality tested positive for the corona of five people in the PCR test conducted on 485 people at the Armed Police Hospital, Balambu. Of the 485 tested, 72 coronavirus test reports are yet to come.
Among the positive reports are one from Machhegaun in Ward No. 9, one from Dahchok in Ward No. 1, one from Balambu in Ward No. 12 and two from the Armed Police Force.
One of the two armed men working in a hospital and the other was staying in Duwakot of Bhaktapur.
Spokesperson of the municipality Haribhakta Maharjan informed that the lockdown is being tightened for three days in Chandragiri as the number of corona infections has increased.
Spokesperson Maharjan said that if a sick person has to walk, he should keep a social distance and wear a mask and gloves.
