Kathmandu : The novel coronavirus pandemic has now killed more than 311,000 people worldwide.
More than 4.6 million people across the globe have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the new respiratory virus.
The United States is the worst-affected country, with more than 1.5 million diagnosed cases and more than 90,000 deaths.
As of this writing another 860 people have died in the last 24 hours. The total death toll has reached 90,978. In the last 24 hours, 19,069 people have been infected and total number of infected people has reached 1,526,842.
Of those infected in the United States, 344,943 have recovered after treatment. Of the 1,090,926 people undergoing treatment, 16,353 are in critical condition.
