Kathmandu : Nine people have been killed in a truck accident in Bhagpur district of Bihar state of India. The dead were labors returning home stranded by the lockdown.
Giving information about the accident, the local police said, “All of them were in the same truck. The truck overturned when it collided with the bus.” According to the police, they were from Champaran district.
The accident took place near Ambho Chowk on National Highway No 31 at 6 am on Tuesday.
According to the police, the driver and his accomplice of the truck heading to Katihar district of Bihar from West Bengal have fled after the accident.
