Kathmandu : An employee of the Electricity Authority has died due to electric shock in Rupandehi.
Man Bahadur Tharu, a technical staff working at Manigram in Tilotta Municipality, died due to electric shock while installing electricity meter at the pump of community irrigation system in Dipanagar of Tilotta Municipality Ward No. 8.
Electricity Authority branch chief Kamar Alam Khan said that the deceased was a permanent resident of Semra in Ward No. 10 of Tharu Tilotta. He has been working in the Electricity Authority for 16 years.
