The municipality will provide Rs 1 lakh to the family of Yadav who died at the border

Kathmandu : The Shahid Nagar Municipality has announced to provide relief to the families of those who died due to starvation at the border.

The municipality will provide Rs 1 Lakh to the family of the deceased as relief. The deceased has been identified as Birendra Kumar Gurmaita Yadav, 32, of Jatahi Simanaka in Dhanusha.

The municipality has provided relief of Rs 1 Lakh to the families of the deceased, said Uday Barbariya. He died at Jatahi on the Nepal-India border on Wednesday while returning home from Gujarat, India.

After his death, Nepalis from different parts of India protested.
