
Kathmandu : Children in Beijing, who have been taking winter break and online classes for a long time due to the Covid-19 epidemic, have started going to school since Monday.
Beijing’s schools and campuses have been reopened on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1.
On May 26, Beijing’s Department of Education held a live program to announce that all procedures had been completed to create an environment conducive for students to return to school. It was informed that various methods including screening sanitizer and fever measurement have been arranged for the students entering the school.
On June 1, about 400,000 students in grades 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 in Beijing entered the classroom. An environment is being created for the students of 4th and 5th class to return to school after one week.
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China at the end of December last year, all school and public crowds have been shut down. In the field of education, online classes were practiced along with long vacations.
