Kathmandu : A driver has died in a jeep accident in Kalikot.
According to police, Double Shahi of Rasko Municipality-1 died in a jeep accident near Lalighat Bazaar in Narharinath Municipality-1 on Tuesday.
According to Yubaraj Guragain, Assistant Chief District Officer of Kalikot, Shahi died on the spot when the jeep (Karnali Pradesh 02001 J 0030) carrying food from Lalighat to Narharinath fell 300 meters down the road. Purna Prasad Upadhyaya, 50, of Narharinath Gaonpalika-3 has been injured in the accident. According to police, further investigation is underway.
