Kathmandu : The number of corona infections in India is approaching 300,000. So far, there are 298,283 infected people.
Earlier, India was ranked fourth in the list of long-active infected. India now ranks fourth in the total number of infected people surpassing Spain and the United Kingdom. Only the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia have more infected people than India.
The death toll in India is also steadily rising. Eight thousand five hundred and one people have lost their lives there. India is the second deadliest country in Asia after Iran. At least 8,669 people have been killed in Iran.
In India, there has been some easing of lockdown in recent times. However, as a result, the number of infected people is increasing daily. At present, around 11,000 new infected people are being added daily.
