Case filed against 34 accused in Rukum incident

Kathmandu : Police have concluded that the massacre of six people, including Nawaraj Bik, was planned in the Chaujahari incident of Rukum. The police said that the conclusion was reached on the basis of postmortem report and other investigations.

On Sunday, the police submitted the investigation report with the findings to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office. And the district government’s lawyer’s office has registered a case against 34 people in the district court.

Of them, 29 have been arrested and 5 have been made absconding defendants. According to Rukum Police, the case has been registered in the court by the government prosecutor’s office.
