Kathmandu : The death toll in a landslide in Sambobari of Tansen Municipality Ward No. 11 under Tansen-Gulmi road section has reached four.
According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the death toll has risen to four after another body was found in the incident on Tuesday. The Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and locals have recovered the body of another man.
The deceased has been identified as Kumar Tamang, 18, of Jkilejhi in Jhapa Shivasatasi Municipality-8, police said.
Two died at the scene and one died during treatment at United Mission Hospital on Monday.
Four vehicles were found buried in the landslide. The buried vehicles include a tractor (Lu 1 Ka 1928), a truck (Lu 2 Kha 1376), a Balero (Lu 1 Cha 7043) and a car (Lu 1 Cha 7011).
