Corona infection in 14 people including two ward chairpersons in Rautahat

Kathmandu : In Rautahat, corona infection has been confirmed in 14 people outside the quarantine, including two ward chairpersons.

Chief of the District Public Health Office, Mahesh Sah, said that a total of 14 people including two ward chairpersons, two executive members, two health workers, one security guard and seven employees of Baudhimai Municipality have been confirmed infected with coronavirus.

A PCR test report on Saturday confirmed the infection, he said. Locals have demanded that the people’s representatives and employees who are in direct contact with the infected should be tested for corona immediately.

People who have been infected have been sent to isolation in a school in the municiaplity.
