Kathmandu : With the addition of 22,752 new patients of Covid-19 in India on Tuesday, the number of infected people has exceeded 742,000.
The total number of infected people in India has reached 742,417 so far, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Wednesday.
In India, an additional 22,752 people were confirmed infected and 482 infected died on Tuesday, according to a press release issued by the ministry. The corona virus has killed 20,642 people in India so far.
According to the release, 456,830 infected people have returned home from the hospital as of Wednesday morning. A total of 264,944 people are still infected and are being treated in hundreds of hospitals across the country.
