Mexico ranks fourth in coronavirus deaths

Kathmandu : Mexico ranks fourth in the world in terms of the number of deaths from the coronavirus that has spread as an epidemic.

Officials say more than 35,000 people have died in Mexico so far due to the corona. Coronavirus has killed more people in the United States, Brazil and United Kingdom than in Mexico, according to Johns Hawkins University officials. Italy, which was previously in the fourth position, has reached the fifth position after Mexico.

Mexican President Andreas Manuel Lopez Obrador said that death toll was rising despite the government’s best efforts to control the epidemic. He added that the number of infected people added in 32 provinces of the country in the last 24 hours was only nine.

Deputy Health Ministry Hugo Elpez Jatel said the number of people infected with the coronavirus had risen to 299,750 by Sunday.
