President of Brazil recovers from Corona

Kathmandu : Brazilian President Jair Bolsenaro has announced that he has recovered from a corona infection. He gave such information through social media on Saturday.

On July 7, Bolsenaro said he had been confirmed to have a corona infection, and on Saturday he reported a negative result. During this time he was in self quarantine at his own residence.

Bolsenaro, 65, said he was taking hydrochloroquine. He has been criticized in Brazil for failing to take effective steps to control the coronavirus. Initially, he said that he corona virus was not as effective as the common cold, and he was not even aware of wearing a mask.

Two of the country’s health ministers have resigned over a dispute with Bolsenaro during the corona epidemic. Bolsenaro has been accused of neglecting public health.

Brazil is the second most affected country in the corona after the United States. More than 2.3 million people have been infected and 86,496 have died. Of the total infected, more than 1.6 million have cured.
