Kathmandu : Five people have died of coronavirus in Nepal on the same day. Two people have died in Morang and Parsa and one in Kathmandu today.
A 65 year old woman from Sarlahi-6, Malangwa died at the Armed Police Force Hospital in Balambu, according to the hospital. She was admitted to the Armed Police Force Hospital from Manmohan Hospital on Shrawan 16.
A 45 year old man from Biratnagar-9, who was being treated in isolation at Koshi Hospital, died at around 1 pm on Wednesday, according to the came only after the death and the cause of death was the same, said Dr. Chumanlal Das, medical superintendent of the hospital. The 35 year old wife of the deceased has also tested positive for corona virus.
A 45 year old man of Rangeli Municipality-8 has died due to corona. A man from Rangeli died on the way to Koshi Hospital for treatment after falling ill, Dr. Das said.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, two more died of corona in Parsa. According to ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam, the deceased have been identified as an 18 year old girl from Pokhariya-9 of Parsa and a 46 year old man from Birgunj-5.
Kiroshi, who was suffering from diarrhea, died on the way to the National Medical College for treatment. It is said that Covid-19 was confirmed positive after collecting and testing his swab. Similarly, a 46 year old man of Birgunj-5 died while undergoing treatment at the temporary Covid Hospital on Shrawan 21.
