Kathmandu : Corona infection has been confirmed in 11 people of Siddhartha Cement Industry in Rupandehi.
The Public Health Office, Rupendehi, has confirmed that 11 people, including employees of the industry in Mayadevi Village Municipality, Ward No. 3, Kamhariya, have been infected with the corona virus.
According to the PCR test conducted at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Bhairahawa, corona infected has been confirmed in 52, 23, 24, 30, 37, 26, 34, 26, 38 year old men and 51 and 21 year old women. According to Kedar Nath Shah, vector control inspector at the Public Health Office, Rupendehi, the swab tests were carried out on Saturday through the National Path Lab in Butwal.
On Saturday, four people, including members of the industry’s board, were infected with Covid-19.
After the infection was detected, the swabs of 83 other people who were in contact with them were collected and tested and 7 more people were found to be infected with Coronavirus.
