Kathmandu : Police have arrested a youth who had come to Janakpurdham to sell illegal weapons.
Among the arrested is Sujit Yadav, 21, of Musaharniya Gaonpalika-3 in Dhanusha.
A team deployed from the District Police Office, Dhanusha, arrested Yadav on the basis of special information along with an automatic pistol and a magazine. It has been found that Yadav had hidden an automatic pistol and a magazine with 4.5 inscriptions in the sugar in a black plastic bag.
According to Dhanusha Police Spokesperson Makendra Mishra, the police team reached the spot on the basis of information that Yadav was coming to Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan 10 Barhabigha to sell the weapon.
Mishra said that further investigation is underway keeping him under the control of Dhanusha police.
