Kathmandu : Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petroleum products.

The price of diesel, petrol and kerosene has been increased by Rs 1 per liter with effect from 12 noon on Sunday, said Binit Mani Upadhyaya, spokesperson of the corporation.

Spokesperson Upadhyay said that the corporation was forced to increase the price of fuel after the price was increased in the new price list received from the Indian Oil Corporation on August 16.

After the new price adjustment, the price of diesel and kerosene has gone up to Rs 91 per liter and petrol to Rs 105 per liter, according to the corporation.

Spokesperson Upadhyaya said that the prices of aviation fuel and cooking gas remained the same. He claimed that the price increase was in line with automatic price adjustment procedure.
