Kathmandu : Weapons have been recovered from a person coming to Kathmandu from Nuwakot. Weapons were recovered from Vikas Pandit of Nuwakot.
Police have arrested Pandit and his friend Amar Tamang for carrying weapons. Pandit, who was on his way to Kathmandu from Nuwakot, was arrested with two pistols, two magazines and 10 rounds of ammunition in a fishpond in Kathmandu and Amar Tamang, who sent the arms, was arrested from Nuwakot.
According to SSP Deepak Thapa Tamang, chief of the Metropolitan Crime Branch, Pandit was arrested while carrying a weapon.
Tamang was released on Falgun 22 after serving six years and two months in jail in a robbery case. SSP Thapa said that the branch was investigation the case.
