Kathmandu : Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in one of the accused in the case of duty death at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj.
The accused involved in the murder of 24 year old Laxman Tamang in Gongabu has been confirmed to have corona infection.
According to Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Shyamlal Gyawali, the infection has been confirmed to five policemen on the basis of contact tracing.
The infected security personnel were admitted to the Nepal Police Hospital, Gyawali said. The accused has been admitted to Nepal Medical College, Jorpati.
