Fuel tanker explodes in Biratnagar

Kathmandu : A fuel tanker of Nepal Oil Corporation has exploded in Biratnagar.

The tanker (Na 4 Kha 7166) carrying fuel of the corporation exploded on Wednesday evening. The blast caused minor damage to nearby hours, said Man Bahadur Rai, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Morang.

The tanker was kept at the Ram Avtar Motors Garage near the Nepal Oil Corporation’s State 1 office. Police said that there was no further damage as there was no fuel in the tanker.

Nepal Oil Corporation Biratnagar Information Officer Divas Bista said that the office has not received any official information about the blast.
