Kathmandu : A young man from the district has been shot dead in Indian territory. Deendayal Sah, 35, of Ghiura village in Ishnath Municipality-7 has been shot dead.
According to District Police Spokesperson Bharat Shrestha, Sah’s body was found in pond near Lan Banswariya village under Ghodashahan police station area of bordering India.
The body was taken to Motihari Hospital in India Bihar for autopsy with the help of Indian police. Rautahat police said that the cause of the murder could not be ascertained and investigation was underway.
According to Kishori Yadav, a media person and resident of Auraiya village in Ishnath Municipality, Sah may have been killed due to money transaction.
