Kathmandu : A person has died when a jeep and a truck collided at Gaighat of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 under Narayangadh-Muglin road section of Chitwan.
The deceased has been identified as Shankar Sedhai, 30, of Gajuri Gaonpalika-2, Dhading.
The jeep (Ba 19 Cha 7677) heading towards Muglin from Narayangarh and the truck (Ga 2 Kha 4319) coming from the opposite direction had collided on Wednesday morning. The injured jeep driver died while undergoing treatment at the old medical college.
The drivers of both the vehicles and the truck are under the control of the police.
