Kathmandu : Police have arrested a man with a sharp pistol and two rounds of ammunition in Kanchanpur.
Khushiram Chaudhary, 24, of Belauri Municipality-10 has been arrested with a weapon by the Armed Police Force.
According to Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, Assistant Inspector at the Armed Police Force Border Outpost, Bhuda, two rounds of ammunition and a pistol were recovered from him. He said that Chaudhary has been handed over to the Area Police Office, Beldandi for investigation.
He will be prosecuted under the Arms and Ammunition Act, said Rajendra Bahadur Singh, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Beldandi.
