Three arrested for making fake press cards

Kathmandu : Police have arrested three people from Bagbazar in Kathmandu on the charge of selling fake identity cards of journalists.

The Metropolitan Crime Branch of Nepal Police has arrested three persons of Kalika Printing in Bagbazar.

SSP Deepak Thapa informed that the materials used to make fake identity cards of the jounalists were also recovered from them. According to the police, they were found to have forged the press card of the online media.

Police in Kathmandu have stepped up surveillance on possible places for making fake press cards following complaints of misuse of press cards during the prohibition order in Kathmandu.
