Kathmandu : Police in Kaski have arrested two people on charges of spreading rumors about the Covid-19 PCR report on social media.
Ishwor Rimal, 29, of Pokhara Metropolitan City-5 was arrested on Wednesday and Niraj Lamsal, 22, of Pokhara Nayabazar was arrested on Thursday, police said.
According to the police, the two had posted the report of Rimal testing the Covid-19 PCR from a public health laboratory in Gandaki and posted the rumor on social media. According to the police, they had posted the negative report on social media as positve.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the case is being investigated by extending the time limit.
