One killed in tiger attack in Rautahat

Kathmandu : One person has been killed in a tiger attack in Rautahat. Sangam Bhadari, 27, of Chandrapur Municipality-6 died after being attacked by a tiger, said DSP Hem Bahadur Shahi of Area Police Office Chandranigahapur.

DSP Shahi informed that the body was found in the forest on Wednesday after being eaten by a tiger below the waist of the body.

Bhandari had gone to the forest on Tuesday afternoon to fench grass. After not returning till late at night, the other two who went to search for Bhandari were also attacked by the tiger.
