Kathmandu : Bara police have seized two motorcycles with Indian number plates along with clothes worth around Rs 1 Lakh. A motorcycle with clothes was taken under control from a public road in Bara Pacharauta Municipality-9.
According to Gautam Mishra, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Bara, the police team deployed on Monday morning recovered readymade garments worth Rs 1,07,725 from India. Indian motorcycles (BR 05 X 6036 an BR 05 V 3137) used for transporting clothes have also been recovered.
Police said that the people who brought the clothes fled. The recovered clothes and motorcycle were handed over to the Birgunj Customs Office, according to the District Police Office, Bara.
