Kathmandu : A person has died in a road accident in Sunsari Dharan Sub metropolis-14 today.
The deceased has been identified as Gokul Tamang, 25, of Sunsari, said Narendra Kumar Karki, Deputy Superintended of Police. Tamang, who was riding the scooter, was seriously injured when a mini tractor (Ko 1 Ta 8801) hit a scooter (Ko 30 Pa 1296) on the inner road of Triveni Marg in Dharan.
The injured Tamang was taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan for treatment. He died while undergoing treatment, according to police.
The driver of the mini tractor, Tulsi Bik, is under police control while the scooter driver Susman Mainali sustained minor injuries, police said.
