Kathmandu : Two persons were arrested with loaded guns from Khotang and Doti on Friday.
According to police, Mehraj Rai from Khotang and Harka Bahadur Bishwakarma from Doti have been arrested. Rai, a resident of Salleni in Halesi Tuvachung Municipality-7 of Khotang, was taken under by the police from his house on Friday morning along with two loaded guns.
Police from Halesi Area Police Office searched Rai’s house on the basis of information that he had illegally kept a gun.
Similarly, 51 year old Bishwakarma of Bogtan Foodsil Gaonpalika-3 of Doti was arrested by the police on Friday morning with a loaded gun. Police recovered the weapon while searching BK’s house on the basis of information that a loaded gun was kept in the house illegally.
Police said that further investigation is underway on both the arrested persons.
