Corona infection confirmed in 2,071 more people

Kathmandu : In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,071 people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus (Covid-19).

A total of 12,427 samples tested in laboratories across the country confirmed the infection in 702 women and 1,269 men. With this, the total number of infected has reached 1 lakh 7 thousand 755.

Of them, 636 have died and 75,804 have recovered from the infection. In the last 24 hours alone, 1,662 people have recovered from the infection. There are 31,315 infected people across the country.

17 thousand 666 are in home and 13 thousand 649 are in institutional isolation. Of them, 329 are undergoing treatment in ICU and 76 in ventilator, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
