Kathmandu : A person has gone missing after drowning in the Kaligandaki River at Bulingtar-1 of Nawalparasi (east of Bardaghat-Susta).
The missing is Chhatra Bahadur Shahi, 22, of Birendranagar Municipality-4, Surkhet, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi. Spokesperson of the District Police Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khan said that Shahi went missing after drowning while bathing in the river this afternoon.
According to him, the missing Shahi is worker working in the corridor of Kaligand. After the incident, police and locals were searching for him in the lower coastal area of Kaligandaki, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Khanna.
