Kathmandu : A Bhupu police constable has drowned in a river in Shuklaphanta Municipality of Kanchanpur today.
According to District Police Office Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa, 50 year old Kamal Singh Thagunna of Ward No. 8 drowned in the river.
“Preliminary investigation has revealed that he deceased had consumed alcohol,” he said. According to police, the body has been kept at Mahakali Hospital for autopsy.
